Residency lengths can vary from one-week to one-month based on availability at the Dance Hub and the artist’s needs. 

The cost of a residency at Corner Brook Dance Hub is $1800 + HST per week. 

This includes access to: 

• 2 different studio spaces (approx 25 x 40 feet, and approx 15 x 25 feet) with sprung marley dance floors, stereo and projection equipment, and natural lighting. Both studios are equipped with sprung marley dance floor and sound systems, and plenty of natural lighting. 

• the Dance Hub’s kitchenette and meeting spaces. 

• artist accommodations through a local partner (private house with one or two bedrooms).

• Transportation support may be possible, as determined on a case-by-case basis.

In addition to supporting creative residencies in dance, we are also happy to work with our dancers-in-residence to find opportunities to engage our community of dancers and dance audiences. This can include masterclasses and workshops, formal or informal public presentations, working with local artists in creative research, etc.
