  • πŸ’§ Water - it is the only beverage allowed backstage and in dressing rooms

  • 🎭 And, Remember to return any rented costumes after the show. Bins will be available at the Theatre.

πŸ§₯ Dressing Room Info

  • Dressing rooms are located backstage and under the stage. Dancers stay in their assigned dressing rooms during the dress rehearsal and shows.

  • Dancers are grouped into rooms by age and dancers under 12 have direct adult supervision at all times and a mix of organized activities and independent time throughout the rehearsals and shows.

  • Washrooms are available nearby all dressing rooms

  • Dancers with costume changes: please arrive in your first costume (see the bottom of this page for the show running order), and bring others in a garment or tote bag. A base layer (like a body tight or body liner) is recommended for easy, modest changes in the dressing rooms or washrooms. Let us know as soon as possible if you/your dancer will need help with a costume change.

πŸ“Έ Photo / Video

  • A&CC and CBDH policies state that there is no photography or video during the live performance (distracting for dancers! distracting for fellow audience members! copyright and privacy issues!) We will have photos and video of the show that will be shared with each performer.

  • Similarly, please do not wave to your child/favourite dancer or call our their name during the performance 😬

πŸ’• Thank You!

A huge thank you to our dancers, teachers, families, and volunteers for making all of this possible. Performing is just one part of learning dance, but an intensive and exciting one! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all at "We've Got the Beat"!
